Short version: no cookies, no ads, no tracking scripts.

No cookies. This site doesn’t set any.
No third-party scripts or fonts. Everything loads from deallocatedobjects.com. A few old posts embed a YouTube or Vimeo video, and those players load from YouTube and Vimeo.
Page views. When a page loads, it makes one tiny request to count the view, carrying just the page’s address and the domain of the site that sent you. No cookies, no ID. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, it isn’t sent at all.
Server logs. Like nearly every web server, mine logs each request: your IP address, the page, the time, your browser’s user agent and the referring page. The logs are deleted after 14 days. I use them to fix problems and to count things like which posts are popular and where readers come from. Those counts never include IP addresses.
Newsletter. If you subscribe by email, your address is stored only to send you new posts. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing deletes your address. It’s never shared or sold.
Email. If you email me, I’ll keep the conversation like anybody keeps their email.
